I have tried via network it was loading till 46% and then reboot and still old firmware (I probably should stop at that point), then I connect USB and uploaded via Windows Xerox File Downloader Utility, this time is went all the way, I even saw message writing to nvram, after that it rebooted with red light flashing and nothing on the screen. Can you help?
Can you provide instruction on how to load firmware via ALTBOOT? Should I try to load same firmware?
I am Kyocera tech, I inherited this beast and need help. I am happy to hire tech but cannot find any locally.

The link I provided is for firmware I was trying to install. I know I need .dlm file to recover and link to .dlm file possibly this one:

Assuming you are talking about a ColorQube 8570 you've got three ways to load the firmware:
The FW Downloader Tool <-- best bet (Xerox File Downloader Utility - Phaser 8500/8550 - Xerox)
Via CWIS (the embedded web page on the machine)
FTP session and PUT
