Activation code requested for an old Xerox 7535

Hi
I had the service (diagnostics) mode message displayed on my old Xerox 7535. I looked in the internet for a way to resolve it and find out i should perform a NVM initialization
After that the mfp is requesting the activation code. It said i am allowed to print 4000 pages, after that it will stop printing
When i enter my serial number on the link below, it said Unable to display the records for this serial number.

I just had the same issue on a Xerox Workcentre 7835i. We work on them often and never had this come up. We sell used Xerox so we don't have a direct contact with Xerox.

I did call Xerox customer support to see if I can get a code and they told me that after the 4000 "courtesy prints" the machine automatically switches to the "sold" plan. I'm a little skeptical this is the case but I am unable to find another solution.

Unfortunately i cant recover the activation code from Xerox Software Activation Portal as advised in many threads

It seems it's an old mfp

At work, I have a new Primelink C9790 which i can have the activation code easily from Xerox Software Activation Portal, by its serial number
