    Win11, Edocs

Anyone heard when they are going to update the edoc to work with anything other than IE?

Good question Rusty, was wondering the exact same myself as it's time for a new laptop hence me being on here.

Was also wondering if anyone had had any success using the 'Internet Explorer Mode' in Microsoft's Edge?

Sorry, its been so busy over here.. only get to look in here once in a while.. Driving 20K a month...

Just set it up the same as you would in I.E on win 7 and 10..

You might have to change the URL .. I played with it for 2 weeks before I got it to work. In Australia we use a different kind of E-Doc. But I still like to use PSW E-docs now and then...

URL that worked for me: file:///C:/Xerox/8142_8160/KiboMMenu.htm ( look for the htm file in your docs) That will give you the path.. Then play around with it..
and some I had to set to PSW://C:

Go onto youTude and and watch I.E setup in edge

    This one helped me..

    PDFs would seem easier.

PDF manuals, whilst easier, are too easy to replicate and distribute. I'm sure Xerox want to keep their manuals in the hands of trained techs instead of out there for all to see.

I'm now hitting issues on Win10 whereby IE11 now opens any clicked link in Edge. It's highly annoying and makes navigating EDOCS annoying. I've reached out to Xerox and been told the new platform is done and ready, just being set up.

Does it work if you set your 'Default Apps' web browser to Internet Explorer?
I don't have any EDOCS so I can't test it.
There's the tool the works, Then there's the tool that is Right!

Well my default browser is actually set to Chrome, yet clicked links in IE11 open in Edge and IE11 is directed to a page telling you how good Edge is. It looks like an update has basically written it into IE11 to force the user to switch.

That's exactly what happened, once I realised what had happened I checked out what the latest updates applied were, researched them and removed it, problem went.

It may still be that easy or might need a registry hack?

Too far back for me to remember anymore than that though I'm afraid.
