    Xerox Versant 180 Background

    I have background on the entire sheet with white spots
    the background is very slight
    only visible on gloss stock
    I have changed the BTR assembly and no change
    anyone have any ideas

      is the unit set for glossy on the tray .. program?

      what is life of consumables?

      what color is the background?

      can you upload a color PDF(s) of the problem? each color separate

      what is counter totals?.

          Hello azehnali.
          As a first step, I recommend cleaning the air ducts under the Development Units. These become clogged over time and generate a cloud of toner in the xerographic process that falls into the IBT and is then transferred to the paper, creating a background. Also check the air filter and if it is very contaminated, change it.
