    Xerox WC 4112 061-320

Hello everyone,I need a little push or point me on the right direction on this model.I received code 061-320,according to manual is polygon motor fail(ROS).This is manifest when copier is in use(make 20-30 copies and is stop in error).
I measured wires on connector PJ 409(MCU) and PJ 247 (ROS) looking for shortcut or open wire, but it’s ok.
CR8 is lit on MCU PWB,I have 24vDc in PJ 400(MCU),I perform 061-200(ready state)and 061-001(start) on Component Control,it’s say is normal. After that I changed ROS(one of my friend have the same model, working)but error persist(now is appear on copier start). On the last I change MCU PWB,but no result,I verified Interlock SW and Drum Unit, everything it’s ok,but error persist.
Now have no idea what is going on with this copier,so every little help is very appreciated.
One more thing,I change Drum Unit and Interlock SW,with the same result. This error appear random on copier, some time when is in use, some time when I start the copier, but before the error, random black line appear on copies and after that error appear.
Sorry for my English, and thanks for help.

    Good luck,Adrian

I'm having similar issue. Did you ever get it figured out?

    Yes
Followed RAP and told me to changes ROS. Not sure after reading your thread if that's the right fix.

If you have another Drum try replacing it. Otherwise check the Drum ground strap and the Drum ground pins.

    Additional things to check:

Replacement of drum crum pwb, PL11.2 item 3
Replacement of drum detect switch PL11.1 item 7
    Replacement of main power switch
Replacement of front cover switch PL1.1 item 11
Check for binding of waste toner augers, it can cause your drum not fully seat even though it latches.

Thanks for your help and advice guys. Turned out to be a stupid little broken wire. Don't know why it broke, no signs that it fried, running in straight path, possibly a mouse but the machine was running when it coded. Oh well thanks again
