Yeah I popped in version 2 when I figured the OS was really having some problems and I tried to get my hands around this thing. Hmmm... I think we have another Fiery that I might try just to see if it's an issue with the fiery. I found out a IC 405 won't work (at least I couldn't get it to work might be a dead 405) I'll try a tower next.
They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
