hi guys can you help me change irc3200c to irc3200n.please because if i try to upgrade the boot rom i says error0013 on sst.
Boot roms can only be updated with the correct version, type c's need type c update versions, and n's need type n versions. There is no way to convert from c to n.
I assume the error occurs, because the tool reads what kind of rom you are trying to write to, and if there is a conflict between c rom and n software, or vice versa, the software will error out. You will have to shop around to find a real n rom.
Happy hunting!

It can be done if you have the proper utilities, like a boot rom chip burner. This is why Canon started the LMS. We know that they are guys out there doing it. The only machine that I remember using two boot rom chips was the iR5000s, One had one slot to boot up the unit and then the other slot was to upgrade the chip to a network chip. If you are working on this model then the answer will be yes, and this can be done with the SST. You might have to find a earlier version SST.

When registering firmware for the iRC3220 there is no distinction between N or C version in the Service Support Tool. When you flash the C3220 simply select 'BOOT' and begin the flash process, the Service Support Tool is intuitive and will select the proper version automatically.
