Tech info release from canon 0107 jams

    Hello all,

I don't know if anyone else has seen this but I got this from Canon today relating to the 0107 jam code on the iR/iRC machines.

It may be of value or it may be stuff we as engineer have already worked out for ourselves but I thought I'd share it out anyway.

    Regards

    Mike

Wow, news travels slow... we've had similar info for over 2 years. I have had great results with slightly different settings:

    Loop-Cst= 0
    TR-TP-SPP = 50
TR-TP-LM = 50 (or 65 if second side poor transfer on lead edge)
    TR-TP-LV = 50 (or 48 if above occurs)
FixTemp = 1 (never on under 35 ppm machines)
    TempCon = 7 (see above)
Combo = is confusing, but the procedure that I found that worked is as follows:
    PPR-SLCT=1
    MOD-SLCT=2
ENV-SLCT=1 (enter 1, then turn on TR-SW1 to a 1. enter 2, then turn on TR-SW2 to a 1. Do this to 5 until all 5 TR-SW are set to one.)

Run about 25-50 2 sided copies.
If jams again, flip stack of paper, or use new ream. This problem is always wet paper. You can feel moisture in very last page at bottom of stack in cassette.
The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
    but Master Of None
Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
    B/W Copier = Not A Press
Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
Copier Tech = Admin's Stress Ball (Scapegoat)
