Hi, yes try quick adjust, sometimes you need to do it several times to overcome the problem, it is additional functions, adjustments...

for Color Miss-registration in Main Scan Direction Only.

      1. Run a sample PG10 and set it aside for reference.
      2. Remove the ITB Cleaning Assembly and with it removed, run another PG10.
      3. Compare the two PG10's.
If there is NO difference in the two test prints. This No difference is a good sign, indicating the IT belt is not slipping due to toner on the inside of the belt, or on the drive rollers, or side guides.
At this point, re-install the ITB Cleaning Assembly.
      4. Clean the pattern reader assembly and recheck its connections.
      5. Enter Service Mode Level 2, Copier > Function > Clear, run REG-CLR, exit Service Mode.
      6. Correctly power cycle the machine.
      7. Perform a Quick Adjust located in Additional Functions > Adjustment/Cleaning > Auto Gradation Adjustment > Quick Adjust.

                      -------

u mean your System (MN-CONT) is only v5.01 / that is hard to believe

original Main firmware was v11.01 In Year 2006- when product became available for consumer purchase in USA

                      (latest is v94.01.02)

                      ----------------------

REG-CLEAR was introduced in v65.17 / only combined with the DCON v53.05 update

                      10/26/07--[New]
Addition of Service mode which clears the auto-registration detection
                      correction values
                      - When the correction value adjusted by auto-registration detection becomes an incorrect value, this Service mode can clear the correction value and set it to default.
                      * This setting is enabled when combining with DCON v53.02 or later.
                      [Service mode]

                      Service mode (Level2) > COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR > REG-CLR
(If this Service mode is enabled, auto-registration detection correction values are cleared.)

Clear the Printer Registration Data, Without Performing a DC-CON Clear

                      Enter Service Mode *2 8 *
                      * 2 for Level 2
Copier > Function > Clear > Reg Clear

                      Note:
After completing the Reg Clear, reboot the Copier and perform a Full Auto Gradation

                      =============================

                      COPIER>FUNCTION>LASER

                      in LEVEL 2
LD-ADJ-Y/M/C Making the tilt correction motor return to the initial position automatically.
                      Operating Instructions
                      1) Select this mode.
                      2) Press the OK key.
                      - The operation starts. It automatically stops when it is completed.
                      Reference:
The tilt correction motor may get locked when the tilt amount in the horizontal scanning direction exceeds the expected
range, and consequently color displacement cannot be corrected even though automatic registration is conducted.
When this symptom occurs, use this mode to make the tilt correction motor return to the center position automatically.
(If you try to do this operation manually by opening the scanner unit, you may touch the lens. For this reason, be sure to
do it by the automatic operation.)

This Service Mode is used to correct the tilt of Y, M, and C against BK, which is used as a reference, when the tilt is
large (when the horizontal lines are higher at the right).

Are you using SST or usb stick to upgrade the firmware? Big jumps in firmware levels are best handled by sst.
