Cannon ImageRunner c3220 not powering up.

I'm having a problem with the printer, c3220; it is not powering up. I'm not sure what caused the problem, but we had not plugged the printer for a month or so after moving our store. I tried other power cords to see if it would power the printer, but was ineffective. I'm not sure what is wrong with it, but can it be solved without calling in a technician and what could be the problem? THank YOu.

The machine is equipped with 2 power switches: main power switch and control panel power switch. Normally, the machine is supplied with power when the main power switch is turned on (i.e., other than when it is in power save mode, low power mode, or sleep mode).

do u see a green light on control panel ??

did u check the breaker ??/

SOrry for not replying for a long time. But, yes I've tried plugging the cord and turning the breaker and it has not helped. I've tried calling many technicans and many don't seem to support the canon imagerunner c3220. Is there anything else I can do. Until then, I will try to call other people and see if they can help fix it.

Sorry for reply so late. But, yes the cord is plugged correctly, and the breaker is on as well. However, even with both those things, it's not turning on. There is not green light at the control panel. I've tried to call several technicians, but it seems none support canon imagerunner c3220. What else can I do. I'll s

        u need a Manual--
check that power cord is plugged in proper place/

post a picture of printer back to view
1-next> u or someone need to first check AC out of outlet
2-next is to check AC into Printer past plug/breaker
3-next is output at the power supply.

Canon ImageRunner C3200 contains two power switches. One controls the device's controller and one controls the front panel display.
Turn on the device's main switch on the side of the unit.

Then, turn on the power switch on the front of the device

Sorry for the late reply again. But I've done as you stated; I turned the switches for both of them on but the printer still doesn't turn on. Unfortunately, I don't have the manual for the printer, do you know where I can download it from? Here are the pictures:

Whoops :P not sure what happened with the images, they didn't show up. I used Imageshack to host the images:

I'm not sure what a Voltage Meter is :S. But the cord of the printer is plugged into an extension cord and still no power. I've provided pictures hopefully that will help you out.

remove that extension cord/ NEVER USE AN EXTENSION CORD ON A COPIER

Lol, I plugged the cord into a wall outlet but still the printer doesn't turn on. I've tried plugging a laptop as well to the outlet and the laptop recharges perfectly. I have also tried other devices as well and they work on the wall outlet. Unfortunately, I don't have a voltage meter to test the voltage.

You are missing a power cord. On the rear view of machine to the left of where the power cord plugs into the cabinet there are three plug sockets. You should have a short power cord that plugs into one of those three plug sockets (does not matter which one) and goes to a plug socket on the finisher side ( right as viewed in photo) of lower panel of the machine where it sits on the cabinet. This will supply power from the cabinet to the machine.

I don't have that particular cord that plugs to the back and connects to the side of the printer. The pins have a different shape, what is that cord called? So I can buy it.

Sorry if the quality isn't too good; I used my iphone 3g to take the pictures.
