    u need to remove the printer back cover
    next be careful of the fan connection--see pic//// don't forget tp plug back in fan wire connector

    But I only have Canadian dollars :P. Sorry guys another problem occured with the printer; this time it seems to restart when printing. I'm not sure why its doing it, but it didn't do that the last time I printed.

    Thanks guys for your help, I was able to get the wire and it fixed the problem. There was an error code afterwards, but after replugging everything back, it the problem was solved. If there are anymore problems I will let you guys know. Thanks alot.

    Thanks for the picture, now I know what the cord looks like. But, do you know where I can purchase this cord or do I have to call canon and order it from them? Can I buy it from futureshop or The Source or stores similar to it?

    You are missing a power cord. On the rear view of machine to the left of where the power cord plugs into the cabinet there are three plug sockets. You should have a short power cord that plugs into one of those three plug sockets (does not matter which one) and goes to a plug socket on the finisher side ( right as viewed in photo) of lower panel of the machine where it sits on the cabinet. This will supply power from the cabinet to the machine.

    Lol, I plugged the cord into a wall outlet but still the printer doesn't turn on. I've tried plugging a laptop as well to the outlet and the laptop recharges perfectly. I have also tried other devices as well and they work on the wall outlet. Unfortunately, I don't have a voltage meter to test the voltage.
