irc 1021if error 194

Hi,
I have a canon IRC 1028if, the error 194 sometimes appears, I have replaced the three color cartridges, clean the laser assembly and exchange ITB unit.. but the error 194 sometimes happens.

does anyone know the problem?

Error in CPR sensor Description: Cannot detect color displacement detection pattern, detected results fall outside the acceptable range. Cause: Dirty color displacement detection sensor, color displacement detection sensor fault, DC controller PCB assembly fault, toner cartridge fault. Action: - Replace ETB unit - Terminal assembly fault (check on every contact between the terminals of each color and the high voltage PCB assembly) - Replace DC controller PCB - Replace toner cartridge

I replaced high voltage pcb assembly....dc controller......the error still appears.......does anyone know the problem.....?

do u have/see any e020's at Power On if so change drum in error (OEM) ??

Check for a damaged harness that goes to the ETB or replace Harness'

how is your voltage supply to printer ???

is it stable and have proper grounding ?

I did that....I replaced etb and three color cartridges and cleanned the laser unit....:-(

Hi,
I have a canon IRC 1021if, the error 194 sometimes appears, I have replaced the three color cartridges, and exchanged ITB unit..exchanged PAPER PICK-UP ASSEMBLY....exchanged...dc controller.... HIGH-VOLTAGE PCB ASS'Y.....and the last thing I did is exchanged the laser unit and their flat cables..........let me hope, cross my fingers....

if anyone know the problem, please let me know......

Hi,

Finally I put a second hand laser unit and new cables flat of the laser unit. and there has not been error for one week..my fingers are still crossed ;-)
