hey larry, i read your post and i am in need of your assistance. i have a customer who has a samsung ER5215M register and wants to change it from a 5 dept(NLU) to a 15 DEPT or (NLU). can you tell me what flag i have to set. i\'m sure it is in service mode, correct? your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a problem very basic with programming.

I have recently bought one of these, new but do not really understand the instructions.
I saw an ealrier answer with ref ABCDEFG but do not undrstand that either.
I want to program VAT rate and my assumption is:

8 ,#/st, 17.5%, #/st
8 ,#/st, 0%, #/st

Seems to be ok but then i go to the department section where I need dept 1 to be 17.5%,dept 2-4 to be 0%.
I can't understand those instructions and get a beep all the time.

what do ABCDEFEG mean there?how do i say I want dept 1 to link to 17.5% vat?

Please any help on this would be appreciated.

I have them all done and delivered. I found out the problem and made the customer happy. I did know that the original post was 05, But who knows when they may be looking at the forum.
