Kyocera KM4050 reset command centre login

Cannot access command centre. I suspect someone has changed the user name and password.
I have tried the default user: admin. Password: admin00 or admin01. But no go.
Can anyone help initialize the user and password ?

There never was a default login. The default is no login or password. See this link:
How to reset administrator password on KM-C3232E?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

How do I enter the commands on a Kyocera 400ci. We have lost the command center password and just want to reset to something.

Have you tried the default username and password? If it has been changed you can use exactly the same procedure in the link. =^..^=

Re: Kyocera KM4050 reset command centre login

When I log into command center at 192.XXX.XXX.XXX my command center only has a password to "input the password" with no user name. I have tried every password in the previous threads (admin00, admin01, password, "blank","", 4000,etc) The machine user name and password are 4000/4000. Where do I enter the command ?

    !R! ACNT "REST";EXIT;

Is it on the machine or somewhere in the command center to change the command center password for the 400ci?

    thanks for your help.

its prescribe language the easy way to do that is
first of all you should use KX driver
    -printer properties
    -device setting
    -PDL (use PCL5e )
then open new word file and select prescribe font and type
!R! ACNT "REST";EXIT; this for reset the job account password
    and
!R! EGRE; EXIT; this is for command center
it will solve your problem good luck

I don't think that any of the Wisecore machines still have the Printable Data link in Command Center any more. The last machines that still had it were the CS-8030 and CS-C4035E.

There are many ways that you can send the PreScribe Command to the MFP: Command Line, Printable Data, KM-Net Viewer, IC Link, but the simplest is LPR Jar: GCC File Send Utility

Just write the command in a Notepad file and save.
    Load LPR Jar.
    Open LPR Jar.
Enter IP address of recipient printer.
    Browse to the command file.
    Send.

    Easy as cake.

This is the 43rd posting on this topic, per the search engine. =^..^=

Re: Kyocera KM4050 reset command centre login

You've been awesome. downloaded utility, created wordpad file, started jar, loaded printer ip and hit 'Send File' and it waits for a few seconds but says 'Connection refused: connect'. Its the correct IP address because I copied right off by command center page. Something about the printer is not letting the utility on. Even when I hit 'Printer Status' on the LPR utility is gives the same error message. I can print to the printer with no problem.

Any ideas why the utility can't connect?

Re: Kyocera KM4050 reset command centre login

I have always used DOS to reset these things

open notepad and copy paste the following

    !R! ACNT "REST";EXIT;

    save the file as reset.txt

Open cmd and cd to the directory where you saved reset.txt and in the cmd prompt type the following

    ftp ***.***.***.***

***.***.***.*** = ip address of printer

Next press the enter key twice (no password required)

Next type put reset.txt and press enter

Re: Kyocera KM4050 reset command centre login

This was easy and it uploaded but it didn't change the password to blank. The subject heading say Kyocera KM 4050 but its a 400ci that I am trying to reset the password. Would the commands change in the txt file?
