    KM6030 Page alingement when printing.

    Hello Everyone,

Any recommendation on how to adjust margins or line feed or carriage return (i'd need thorough description on each parameter) as I would like to shift printed page by 4mm upwards. Client is printing on Letter headed paper with text already in place. Would prescribe help? Can I do this on this machine? Is there any other option?
This will run on AS400 with OS 400 v7r2. and the only emulation so far that worked for me is PCL6. The AS400 is configured to print using HP LJ 4000 driver as compatible solution, unfortunately with the actual print being of alingment by one line (3-4mm). Document can not be changed as it is working fine for other printers in their building a.e Inforprint1500 and Infoprint1334C and is a part of template in their database

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks

    habik

Correction KM TA-620 is a machine i can actually amend some printing margins but can't get my head around it!

Re: KM6030 Page alingement when printing.

Can someone enlighten me on how the "Custom margin values on L1/2 L3/4 L5/6 L7/8" can be set up in the Kyocera Printer and Driver utility ?

Many Thanks, seems obvious but I tell you the truth it is not!! Or I am just overloaded and don't see it the way I should!

There are certain limits as in how far up the page or down the page I can go... anyone with experience on this one please, thanks

Sorry habik, I haven't fiddled with these adjustments. If image height is the issue I'm guessing L1 & L2 are the ones you want. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That is what I thought, the margins are so delicate to adjust...once you go over certain value and you have to combine settings with others it goes completely per shape..

Thanks..for your tip If I crack this thing it would be the best B-day present ever

Put the paper in the 3rd drawer and adj the guides so that the print is put on the paper properly.

How simple! Set up another iteration of the driver. Default the new driver to tray #3. Load the paper A4 to tray #3, then just adjust U034 or the mechanical tray adjustment to suite your application.

I wish I'd thought of it first. =^..^=

Thanks Blackcat, very nice thought.. however I need all trays plus side deck to be used with APS to just run constantly to print 50k almost in one go a.e. less re-filling the happier the client is. That is why I am shifting the print table margins.

I put myself too much in to the Kyocera driver utility instead of reading and listening properly!!

                Thanks Blackcat and Tonerkiller!

I am going to solve it! This has to work! So simple
