    [Misc] Copy Light TA-5550ci

    Hi all,
    I get a problem with a TA-5550ci. The prints and copies are very lignt ( see Att. file).
    Need help!

    Looks like you have no transfer

      Print a Color pattern (U89) and open the conveying unit during printing to see if the image is clearly visible on the belt. If that's the case check the mechanism that moves the transfer roller to and from the belt. Could also be a bad contact somewhere in the conveying unit.

          The image is not clearly visible on the belt. But I findout a bad transistor on the Hight voltage PWB. May be that the problem. I would replace and let you know. thx

            Lack of charge on a digital machine will give you a black copy.

              What they said.

              I would just add that you should update firmware to the latest 07.09.0020 version (lots of fixes in it) after replacing that pwb. After the update make sure you perform Color Calibration and than Color Registration Adjustment so that the adjustment values would be correctly reflected.

                It's not a charge, it's for transfert and separation bias. So my think, it's can be.

                        FYI, a flooded machine would do this, if it turns on at all.
                        Idling colour developers are not healthy developers.
