kyocera fs-1116/TA 2316

Hello, we have this machine here and it is doing an awkward error, after turn on it does a normal check up, gets ready to function, we can even make a copy... after a bit a message comes up "printing pag.1" and all the lights in the op panel start blinking, and it stays completly locked.
This happens even if we do not make any copy or anything (macchine not plugged to any comp. so i ruled out any weird comunication errors)
i checked everything mechanicaly, all seems fine.
As anyone ever came across something similar?
Still waiting for input from Kyo... (wich here usually takes its time >.<)
And my client doesnt wanna wait that long.

Any hint or help would be greatly appretiated.

At minimum I would at least try reloading the firmware.

Yes the firmware is a logical easy place to start, but I think you'll end up replacing the NIC.

The solution was much easier than it seemed at start... the machine has a service mode menu (wich isnt listed on the SM i have, guess i'll have to check how many there are -.-"), thru wich i was able to do a mem clear and reset to factory defaults, and the problem was gone

These are the keys to acess that menu incase anyone else needs it.
