    CW2200 roll loading issue

Hi, All. I have a D124 wide format machine that seems way too particular when attempting to load a new paper roll. I can always get it to load after dicking around with it for 5 minutes or so. Has anyone else ran into this? Maybe there is a secret to doing this that I am unaware of

Do you have that problem on both roll feeders? (if there's a second roll feeder installed)
    What exactly goes wrong...?

the way i teach my K.O's, open the cover (the metal cover above roll feeder 1) turn the paper-roll slowly clockwise untill the edge of the paper can enter in to the guides, turn counter clockwise and guide the paper inside for just a few inches untill the roll feeder takes over, close the cover...enter the media type and cut or not...

In case you have 2 roll feeders, the lower roll you'll have to open the cover also, same trick.

could happen when heavy paper, let's say Coated 180gr, when you place a new roll, after the machine feeds in the paper and pulls it back, the paper got lost, in that case i put my finger on the roll holder in order to slow down the reverse motion.

What happens before you manage to get it to load the paper roll?

We have a customer with the same machine and the problem is that the paper very often comes to far out in the registration so it just winds back out of the machine again, as described in this thread. For some reason it seems to have been working fine the last 5-6 months or maybe the customer just doesn't care to report it in since it eventually succeeds in loading the paper anyway

More customers has now gotten this machine lately and since the above mentioned machine has been a pain in the ass since the first day I saw it I really hope that the other ones works much better.

I have seen the problem Martie describes multiple times. One thing I found that seemed to help was when it asks "CUT" or "NO CUT" was to select "NO CUT". Let it complete the paper load and come to READY. Then print the COUNTER PAGE to cut the paper.
