MP 4055 gray copies... Need PCU part number.

    MP 4055 gray copies... Need PCU part number.

    I have customer that purchased a MP 4055 from Ricoh without purchasing service contract. She was sure that I could repair it when needed. So it's now 9 months old with 68000 copies and all copies are very gray over the whole page. You can still see the image but the gray is getting bad. I'm suggesting a drum/developer assy. But it's such a new machine PR doesn't have a replacement for it. When I called PR they said they didn't have a part number on file for it yet and if I could get the part number they probably could get it for me.

    So does anyone have a part number for the drum/developer /pcu?

    Or if you have a suggestion as to why the copies are gray, I'd appreciate your input.

          If you can post a print sample this will help us out.

          Even just the counter print out page we can tell a lot from that.

              Mika are you aware that you attached your 2017 W2 to the end if that scan? You might want to contact aneurism to get it removed.

                  Build up of toner film on the development roller. Frequently caused by corrupt toner or developer. If she has been using anything other that Genuine Ricoh or NA Trading and Technologies that could be the cause.

                      Only saw genuine Ricoh toner on site.
                      Even checked the part number to make sure it was the correct toner...it was.

                          Sorry this isn't as dark as the first few I ran.
                          I had just lightened the contrast all the way on the control panel just before this pic.
