I have a couple of 1224c copiers that are driving me crazy. One does a perfect B/W copy but the color is a background of blue, green and yellow. The next one has a perfect B/W, but the color has about a 2 inch blurred strip at the top of the page on color. Any ideas???

The one with the background likely needs new dev units.
The blurred line likely needs the drive assembly replaced.the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.Samir: No, not again. The blurred line one will need a clutch pack (cleaning)
The background one may need ccd (check for sc142 errors in the log) only when copyingNetworking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

The coloured background could also be the PCU earth - a metal strap that sits on the drive shaft. The whole drive unit needs replacing if it is this.Comment
