    MPc 2050 Scan to media

Did you guys know you can scan to a pen-drive without the optional, just go into user tools scanner functions and activate the function, then insert the media into the most front USB slot on the left hand side of your machine " media must be formatted in FAT 16 or 32", then press scanner key and choose your option. thats it work fine

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.

Doesn't work for me. Enabled the SP, rebooted the machine. Now, when I plug a USB pen (4Gb formated FAT32), it tells me an unsupported device was connected to the USB port.

Sorry I didn t mention is, but its in the manual, the machine only supports up to 2Gb.

I see a function in SP (1013) but not in UserTools. Did you mean SP mode?

I saw that one, but thought it was only relevant with SD cards.

Thanks! Will buy a cheapo 1Gb pen to try it out!

              Will post results later!

                    It works.

Did it with a colleague's 512Mb pendrive formated with FAT32.

                    Thanks again for the tip!

Just tried it on my demoroom MPC4000.

                        Worked like a champ!

                        Thankz!

Tried it on a C2050spf with a 2G pen drive. Fast effective and auto disconnect.
                          Thanks again, iMind.
