Set Magenta PCU correctly error
I'm having some trouble with a Ricoh Aficio 811Dn.
I keep having the error "Turn Main Power off, then set the PCU correctly, Magenta"
I've replaced the PCU units 2 times at the direction of Ricoh's techs as well as clearing the data logs at the 7. level.
At this point everyone seems a little baffeled. I'm wondering if there is a sensor I can clean that may be causing the error since it sounds more like a mechanical "the pcu isn't there" kind of error.
The unit also has an "ethernet style" connector in the back and I'm wondering if the jack inside of the printer may be the cause.
Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreaciated.

The PCUs are detected via the sucessfully connection of each TD sensor.

Just to give an update to anyone that might be following this thread and pass a tip along for others in the future...
My Aficio sp C811DN was suffering from a pushed in connector jack in the back of the Magenta PCU. We were going to take the back off of the printer to get to the jack but I took out the transfer belt and PCUs and was able to pull the jack back into place by inserting a regular cat5 ethernet cable into the jack and using it to pull the jack back to where it belonged.
One thing to watch out for is the jack was only out of place by a very small amount. I didn't notice it being pushed in at first but this was pretty much the last step I could take in troubleshooting the Magenta PCU error.

Result.
Those female connectors do have a little give side to side but the way I've seen some people slam those PCUs in I'm not suprised.

are Ricoh, Savin, Gestetner, pcu's all the same, I have seen aproblem with toner not being recognized by a Savin model with Guestetner toner.

Pass, not sure.
I would guess if it's the same model and dev it's more than likely the same toner mixture is used.
But the bottles are chipped and that's where the problem could be.
