    CLP680ND/CLX6260 Series Jams

Has anyone else had any issues with these models jamming when paper is coming out of the paper tray? We've had quite a few that begin making click noises and jam frequently, if not every time. There does not appear to be any bulletins or anything available from Samsung at this point.

Check the feed assy, iirc it can visually inspected from the back. Had 1 do this and the shaft had gotten twisted. Made clicking noises and jammed a lot.

We've changed the the actual feed roller assembly and the seperation roller assembly with no success. We ran close to 100 duplex prints after changing those out and it jammed once during that run. It appears to be double feeding. It did make a clicking noise when it jammed. After inspecting the feed roller assembly and looking at the actual feed rollers i think it may have to do with the small teeth and triangle shaft that drives the feed rollers. Maybe the teeth are too small and when the triangle shaft is turning it is skipping? I am not sure. I've got a ticket started with samsung support so we will see what they say.

        Update:
It appears that the feed clutch was the culprit. It would intermittently stop functioning properly then lock up. We replaced the clutch and the machine has worked ever since.

I'm working on one at the moment. I do have a parts manual but was unable to locate the clutch you're talking about. Can you help with a part number? Is it part of the PH Drive unit (paper handling drive unit), part no JC93-00769A? Thanks.

edit: i've confirmation from other source that it is indeed part of the ph drive unit. and the ph dr unit is cheap enough so not to worry.
