    ArmA 3

ArmA 3 Beta is coming out soon. Just curious to see how many techs out there are enjoying ArmA 3 Alpha at the moment? Maybe share any stories?

I play on co-op servers against some pretty insane AI. I specialise in the sniping department, so I regularly try to take out Mortar teams that pop up from time to time. I remember a few weeks ago, we were attacking a camp on top of a heavily forested hill. Me and another guy decided to circle around and attack from the other side.

Little did we know we were walking straight through an enemy patrol. We quickly dropped and let them pass all around us, before we moved on. Then the mortar shells started dropping. It was incredibly exhilarating, to be honest.

With co-op mode I might give this one a look.. I watched a video on YouTube on co-op play. Looks good. As I am really into a lot of co-op games now. I like having a good team working on taking on the AI sending them to oblivion.

Well, the Beta is out now. They've added a bunch of new vehicles for each faction, they've added a new faction ( with their own vehicles) and a few new weapons.

It's a good break and a whole different experience to the arcade style combat of CoD and battlefield.

And even though co-op is mainly against AI, It can be quite challenging, as often Air support and transport via helicopter is out of the question because of small manned AA sites are set up around the place in valleys amongst the trees.

        Try red orchstra 2.
Somewhere in the middle of cod and arma.
Had many amazing battles with it.
And it costs less than a pizza on steam now.

Yep already got that one. It is pretty good, but I just can't get into it.
