    Good Day

    i have MP C 3003 having intermittent error sc 670-01.it starts with sc 670 then i update the firmware and it showing sc 670-01.
    i have replaced control board,BCU,IPU,IMAGING I/O BOARD one by one but still same issue-
    Any Idea.

    This machine has SAFEQ installed and when machine is restarted ,safeq disable( white instead of orange status) in extended features resulting showing message ,install extended features

      as a technician working with SafeQ I can provide with some information. The issue SC 670-01 is not related to SafeQ application being present on the device. I can only recommend obtaining service manual for the device or contacting Ricoh support about that particular error code.

      For the SafeQ application after all the steps done I recommend to reconfigure the Ricoh device again. Since main parts of the device have been changed the internal device configuration may have been lost. The documentation for YSoft SafeQ includes configuration required for the SafeQ application to work on Ricoh device. Try to check the current configuration if is set according to the documentation. Yet the documentation states that access to service menu of the device is required, but that is not part of the documentation itself.

      It would be better to contact your distributor of the SafeQ solution in order to reconfigure the whole device for SafeQ.

      White status means that the application did not start at all. Which could mean that the Java is not present on the device. In the Extended features you should be able to see two SafeQ application and one Java. Check if the Java is present on the device and running.
