Alexandria, VA (May 5, 2025) — ISA International Sign Expo 2025 hosted yet another event bursting with new ideas and innovations to drive business throughout the rest of the year. Despite headwinds of economic pessimism, travel restrictions and tariffs, the show closed with almost 18,000 registered, surpassing the 2023 event held in Las Vegas. The number of exhibitors was the highest since pre-COVID. The mood on the tradeshow floor also ran counter to broader uncertainty, with many clearly in the mood to buy. Many exhibitors started the last day of the show with “sold” signs on their equipment while others remarked that it had been their best show in years. Attendees like Ruel Maxwell of Brand Flo came with a shopping list and ready to explore the trade show floor, which showcases the breadth of the sign, graphics, print, wrap and visual communications industry. “I came to look at machines and get educated on them,” he said. “I’ve got a few decisions to make going back.” For others, like first-timer Michele Phelan of 96pt.LLC, it was time to explore and buy new materials. “I’ve learned so much about different materials and different ways of putting things together. I also met so many of my heroes from different manufacturers that have supplied materials that I’ve specified.” Even long-timers like Matt Lauretano of Lauretano Sign Group find benefits in returning every year. “Finding out what’s new in the industry is invaluable,” he said. There was plenty of that, with dozens of exhibitors announcing innovations that made their international debuts at the event. Networking events like Women Leading the Industry and ISA Rocks: THE Industry Party, were sold out events. WLI and Rocks offered opportunities to build relationships that continue throughout the year. The Link: Install connected national sign companies with local installers to install and service their signs throughout the U.S. and Canada. This year’s event included a new iteration for print installers. ISA International Sign Expo is about “the connections that we make, both old and new,” said Courtney Ramos-Fincher of exhibitor ARK Ramos. “My favorite thing is to put faces with names that I email all year long. I love to see you in person and meet you. ISA, year after year, is about the connections.” Connections were even broader than in years past, with the experiential design organization SEGD and sign industry franchisor Signarama co-locating their meetings alongside ISA International Sign Expo 2025. Education sessions, whether on the tradeshow floor or in targeted gatherings, were another significant draw. Specialized events, like the Demo Depot and The Wrap Experience, brought hands-on demonstrations and targeted learning for the wrap community while the Sign Shop Spectacular celebrated the craft of signmaking. “ISA International Sign Expo 2025 had the theme of ‘No Limits,” said Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. “That clearly was the attitude of those who came to Las Vegas. They were there to find ways to grow their companies no matter what else was occurring outside of their business. The new ideas they found, the connections they made and the products they explored have set them on the course for success throughout 2025.” ISA International Sign Expo 2026 will be April 8-10 with a pre-conference day April 7 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Registration will open later this year. ### About International Sign AssociationThe International Sign Association (ISA) strives to be the leader in shaping and developing the sign, graphics, and visual communications community worldwide.
