In the annual Gartner U.S. copier market report for 2006, Ricoh Americas Corporation -- consisting of Ricoh, Savin and Lanier brands -- has been ranked number one in both black & white and color overall copier placements in the United States.

But there is still plenty of room for improvement especially on entry level / desktop products.
Ricoh products in this area are far to large and far to noisy from what customer feedback I have recieved.

With that said the newer smaller laser printer models do look more promising but the gelsprinter range is very weak in comparsion to market leaders in this genre.
