TTI Exploration, a privately held geosciences technology company based in Houston, today announced that it has successfully acquired more than 2,800 square kilometers of ultra high-resolution, hyperspectral surface images over environmentally sensitive areas in Mississippi. The imaging data was acquired as part of Operation GulfSCAN, an initiative launched by TTI Exploration to measure the health of the Gulf coastal ecosystems just prior to the incursion of oil from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
