Sharp is advancing the expansion schedule for its 8G LCD panel line, increasing the plant's monthly capacity to 90,000 glass substrates by May 2008 from the present 60,000, according the Chinese-language Nanfang Daily newspaper relayed via Sina.com, which cited a company executive.
