If you've ever wanted to buy a desktop 3-D printer or scanner, MakerBot is now selling its printers at more Phoenix retail locations. The Fry's Electronics in Phoenix and Tempe and a Staples Inc. store in Scottsdale announced today they were selling the MakerBots to make the printers more readily available to mainstream consumers.
