    Patriot National Bank settled an Americans With Disabilities Act investigation by the U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut, resolving an ADA complaint brought by an individual who alleged the Stamford-based bank would not do business with her over the phone using a telecommunications relay service. Patriot National Bank cooperated to develop and amend its policies and practices to comply with ADA, with U.S. Attorney Deirdre Daly saying her office has received other complaints against major financial institutions that they are refusing to communicate with individuals with disabilities who use relay services to communicate by telephone.
