I heard he was trying to reschedule the presidential debate (tonights) for next week to take place of the vp debate. If you have heard any of Palin's interviews(only 3 in a few weeks), you would know that she doesn't have enough knowledge to debate Biden. You don't just go from hockey mom to VP candidate in a few years. It was a bad decision, but at least the American got to see how McCain makes decisions before he was elected. Country First? I'm not buying it.

Obama is not black, he is only part black. It is misleading to say he is the first BLACK man to do anything. The first half-breed maybe. Just shows how delusional Obama's supporters are, and how easily they buy into hype.

There are better ways to stall or avoid a debate. McCain is not president yet so it makes sense that he would rather do the job he was elected to do first. No big deal, really. It does not matter very much how the vice presidential candidates do with their debate. It would not effect my vote one way or the other ... they are not running for a decision making office.

The really ironic part of it all is that the poster is from Texas and last time I was in Texas anyone that was mixed was still considered black.

Geographical location has little bearing on a person's outlook on race, unless that person is weak minded to begin with. But be that as it may. I was speaking literally and realistically ... the way I prefer to think.

I could be mistaken, but I think Obama considers HIMSELF black so it is not out of line for his supports to recognize where he aligns himself. I think race is a non-issue in this election anyway, so that is a moot point. I think gender is a moot point as well. The number of racist who would actually vote against Obama because he is considered black is so insignificant it would hardly effect the outcome of the election anyway.

Personally, if this was a Hillary Clinton vs John McCain election, I would probably vote for Hillary. That is not because Obama is black, it is because he is a poser ... even a puppet. Hillary on the other hand was pretty genuine and well connected already.

I don't think the either of our candiates deserve to be second guess on every move they make between now and the election. I try not to pay attention to anything negative about Obama or McCain. I do TRY to only concentrate on thier personal opinions about the issues and their plans for handling them. Anything outside of that is just hype and crap ... really.

if it doesn't matter "race" why did you guys bring it up? It doesn't matter to me what color he is, I'm not sure school book learning is the same as experience. My vote is still McCain. If Mc Cain had dark skin I'd still vote for him. Its not whats on the outside its whats on the inside.

I have seen no candidate promote their particular race. I have heard no debate issues cover the subject of race. I have witnessed no grand demonstrations against anyone running because of their race. In fact, all the real evidence places race as a non-concern.

Now what evidence can anyone provide that race IS an issue. That's what I thought, nada! Just a bunch of speculation and conjecture. I base what I believe on facts; not hearsay. Sooooo, who is living in a fantasy world here? Give me verifiable and reliable numbers and examples and I will gladly change my mind. Not a few isolated examples or someone else opinion either.

Are you serious? I know NO ONE who cares about the race of either candidate. I hear more sexist bs from the libtards about Sarah Palin being female than I do about Barack being black. I cannot believe the amount of race card flashing I see today. As far as I'm concerned, and those I associate with, it matters not your race so much as your record. Baracks own record is a grand study of hypocrisy. Not that McCain hasn't done some of it himself, but he typically is more consistent.

FACT: Not one person who ran for President this time around was actually worthy of leading our nation.

And the moron who is in office now is actually the least qualified.
He has done more damage to our country that can never be recovered. There will be more books written about him and the damage he's caused than all the other presidents combined!

I will politely disagree with you. I feel that through the scope of history, he will be found to be one of the best. That is just my opinion. You do not have to agree with it. I am not asking for your blessings on any of my opinions. I agree to be civil and keep the personal attacks out of it. Like I have said earlier I would welcome any of you to my home and have a beer with you.

All that is wrong with this country is not one man's fault. Do I agree with Bush 100%. NO!. When I have felt that he is wrong I have contacted the White House and voiced that. Any one is able to do that. In fact I encourage every one to do that. The number is 202-456-1111. Or you can even email your comments to comments@whitehouse.gov.

Congress has also has a lot of the blame to this mess. I have my congressmen and senators on speed dial. If all any one ever does is complain to the people they know or deal with, or leaders are not going to hear us. That is true no matter what party or social leaning group they belong to.

Besides Bush being dumb as a rock, there isn't a good thing I can say about him. He will not be found to have been a good president, he has lied and cheated his way through election, than the presidency, has us in a war in Iraq we shouldn't be in infringe into all of our rights with the Patriot Act and he has been a good President.? What are you smoking man, because I need some of that!

GW Bush will be one of the best? Maybe in the Crack-o-Scope of history. 50 years from now he will be ranked in the bottom ten.
