You pretty much just helped to prove the argument of "More tests administered = More results (positive or negative)."
When we could only test hundreds a day or a week, it seemed like the virus wasn't affecting us as badly.
Now that were testing MILLIONS, it's common sense that our numbers are going up!!
By June 20th we had tested 17 MILLION people in the U.S. That's Twice the population of the UAE. That's nearly half of Canada's Total population.
Read a story of a guy here in my hometown who was in the Covid Ward for 40 Days, and was tested at least 20 times with only the LAST time being negative......We can all assume that the other 19 positive tests from this ONE individual were added to the Total.
There's all kinds of number manipulation going on, and it's sad to see.

Why would you think that multiple positive tests on the same person get added to the total? Stop believing everything you read on conspiracy theory sites. It will eventually skew your reality.
I have a friend who was as normal as can be until he started reading and believing things from sites like these and now he believes the world is flat. And it is impossible to convince him otherwise. Reality skewed.

How about we start using the numbers for SARS-Cov-2 in a country as a percentage of that country's population. When we do we find that the US is no longer number one in the world. Using total cases as a percentage of population the US drops to 12th. Using total deaths the US drops to 9th. 6 of the 8 countries with higher death rates are the European countries of Belgium, UK, Spain, France, Italy and Sweden. Since none of those 6 countries are part of the 11 countries with a higher case rate, they have higher death rates for those that do become infected. But the news media never tells you that.

it has been reported over n over (even the NYT) that every time a person is tested positive it is recorded as such. This is happening all over the world.

so NOT a conspiracy

Yes, if someone tests negative and then tests positive again it gets counted again. Not followup tests that are positive.
