    My first thought was that some software programmer somewhere has a sense of humour, but having met some of them I know that isn't true.
    At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.

      Likely a double translation from the native engineer's language to the all confusing language known as English. I understand technical manuals, but this generation of service mode instructions is often open to interpretation. Seems more thought gets put into the marketing brochures then the operating instructions and error messages. Progress!
