        There's a simple test I usually suggest to any tech-in-training:

        Grab an old fuser lamp - doesn't need to be good, just in one piece. Drop your pants and then, slowly and gently stick one end of the lamp up your rectum until it is roughly halfway in. Now with a vigorous twist, break the lamp and jam the remainder inside - don't mind the blood, don't mind the blood. Now twist it inside a couple of times, feeling the shards ripping your delicate parts and - as an encore - drop your ass on the nearest table, concrete bench or even the floor.

        If you enjoyed that, then the tech life is the life for you. Welcome.

          THAT painted a pretty awful mental picture, so much my butthole hurts a little bit now, and I am glad I don't work for the people you do.
