Trump keeps making EXCUSES
Trump’s excuses are comical
No one outside the White House (and not even everyone in it) could honestly believe President Trump’s latest excuse for not showing up for a previously announced event. Trump tweeted on Sunday:
Because of my strong focus on the China Virus, including scheduled meetings on Vaccines, our economy and much else, I won’t be able to be in New York to throw out the opening pitch for the @Yankees on August 15th. We will make it later in the season!
Yet he finds time for golf, insulting political opponents and watching gobs of TV news? Perhaps he would rather not go to Yankee Stadium because he might not be able to throw the 60 feet and 6 inches from the mound to home plate (certainly the climb down the 10-inch mound is not as treacherous as the West Point ramp). Maybe he shied away because he would have found himself at an event where the players all “take a knee," which has been a regular and warmly received feature in the new and abbreviated season. Whatever the reason, in refusing to go, he is avoiding a place where he’s likely to be confronted by those outside his bubble and be widely mocked.

being born and raised in nyc maybe trump has been told to stay away as these asshole protestors might try to burn down yankee stadium..
nyc police have plenty to deal with already....
There is no civility with these asswipes they swing at cops and deface churches,statues and the court houses which have stood for over 100 years,,

Walmart bans couple seen in video wearing the Nazi swastika on their face coverings
Walmart said it has banned a couple from its stores after they were seen on video wearing face coverings with swastikas as they shopped at one of its Minnesota locations.
Saturday, the same day Minnesota started requiring its citizens to wear masks in all indoor businesses, a Walmart customer captured video footage of a man and woman wearing face coverings emblazoned with the Nazi symbol at a store in Marshall, southwest of Minneapolis.
The nation's largest retailer, which started requiring its customers to wear masks last Monday, confirmed the incident to CNN. Delia Garcia, a spokeswoman for Walmart, said the couple is banned for at least one year.
Neither Walmart nor authorities identified the couple.
"What happened at our store in Marshall, MN is unacceptable," Garcia said in a statement. "We strive to provide a safe and comfortable shopping environment for all our customers and will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment in any aspect of our business. We are asking everyone to wear face coverings when they enter our stores for their safety and the safety of others and it's unfortunate that some individuals have taken this pandemic as an opportunity to create a distressing situation for customers and associates in our store."
Police served the 59-year-old man and 64-year-old woman with trespass notices, warning them they would be arrested if they returned, the Star Tribune reported. The two left without incident and charges were not pursued.Comment

Planet Fitness to require members and guests to wear masks in clubs at all times
Planet Fitness employees are currently required to wear masks, Planet Fitness policies say. Members and guests who forget a mask will be provided with one.Comment

Trump shatters his own show of responsibility on the pandemic
Then the President retweeted a video in which a group of doctors make false claims about the virus, including one who says "you don't need masks" because hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria drug pushed by the President, is a "cure" in combination with several other drugs. Multiple credible scientific studies say the treatment is ineffective against Covid-19. The video, which went viral on YouTube, was later removed by Facebook and Twitter because it spread misinformation.
It was just the latest occasion when Trump's scripted shows of responsibility about the virus, witnessed in his return to the White House briefing last week, were undermined by what appears to be his true, conspiratorial, politicized views. Only last week, the President grudgingly became one of the last public officials to endorse the use of masks to slow the spread of the virus. Now, yet again, he is undercutting government advice on the matter.Comment

When Trump was pressed by CNN's Kaitlan Collins about his words of support for a doctor who downplayed masks and suggested alien DNA was used in medical treatments, he cut the briefing short and stormed out.
