“Certainly it’s not going to be a pandemic for a lot longer because I believe the vaccines are going to turn that around,” Fauci said at a virtual health conference hosted by London-based think tank Chatham House.

Regardless, my point still stands, no one in the democrat party told us that. But I told you. Trump told you.

... how do you define a lot longer? One? Three? Six? 12? months?

For a healthcare worker or essential worker (very Special persons only) now to one month. For anyone else, three to nine months.

In most jurisdictions a copier tech is considered an essential worker. I have no idea if your family can benefit the same.

The new vaccine from Pfizer requires two injections. The first injection is said to make a person not feel great for three days and have pain at the injection site. The second injection no less than one month later has much milder effects with a few Tylenol.

... and then a booster shot every year for the rest of your life.... just like the common flu.

By all accounts, the Pfizer vaccine is a wonder drug available for distribution in a previously unthinkable short period of time.

Many other COVID-19 solutions will be announced in the coming months.

Pfizer declined to accept any funds from the US Federal gov't under Trump's Operation Warp Speed.

The Trump Administration is trying to take credit for funding the development of this vaccine.

        This is a false claim.

Was Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Development Funded by Trump Administration?

President Elect Biden's corona virus response team has been in touch with Pfizer to coordinate best practises and distribution.

Fauci: COVID-19 won't be pandemic much longer due to vaccines

This just sounds like sour grapes to me. Dr Fauci painted a dark picture early on, which contradicted Trump saying things like it's a hoax. It will be gone in a few weeks. By summer.

The Dems didn't make anyone believe there was no hope. Trump did that entirely on his own by his terrible response.

On October 25th the White house said "We are not going to control this pandemic". Trump doesn't get any credit for saying a vaccine is coming soon. Just like the "few weeks" or "by summer" comments it was sheer bluster. If he was saying that based on some promising studies or research fine, but the coming soon was just a shot in the dark. He got lucky saying it was coming soon, he was wrong about everything else.

Considering Trump promoted a Dr who said sickness was caused by having sex with demons in your sleep, calling Dr Fauci a fraud is a little over the top. It's sounds closer to the truth Trump is just jealous Dr Fauci had better ratings.

Dr. Doom (Dr. Fauci) tells Americans to do what they're told. Says individual states no longer should have state right to handle corona...that federal government should be all powerful. Only problem with that is our pesky constitution. We'll see how this plays out in court if Biden tries to impose a federal lockdown.

According to CNN as of April 3rd the USNS Comfort was deployed to the Harbor of New York with a patient capacity of 1000 and a stall of over 1100 had seen only 22 patients. and now Fredo says " if I didn't need his help I would have punched him in the face " bad move Fredo... Trump would have wiped the floor with the nipple pierced idiot.

but yet infected people were housed with elderly people that were NON COVID in the first place.. but like ANY typical dimwit he blames Trump for that.

The majority of dimwits were AGAINST Trump banning flights from certain cuntries.. But the WHO and CDC both say that was a smart move?

Re: Latest on the Corona Virus

Surviving Covid-19 is hard enough for those who get severely ill from the disease, but returning to normal is a struggle, too, according to new research that found survivors were likely to face health and financial hardships even months later.

                      https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/14/health/coronavirus-recovery-after-hospital-discharge-study/index.html

A team of scientists led by Dr. Vineet Chopra of the University of Michigan Health System looked at 488 Covid-19 patients treated and released from hospitals in Michigan. They surveyed them about two months after their release, between March 16 and July 1.

A third of the survivors reported ongoing health issues, such as cough, new or worsening conditions and persistent loss of taste or smell, the researchers reported this week in the journal Annals of Internal Medicine.

Nearly half said they were "emotionally affected" by their illness and a small number, 28, sought mental health care after discharge.

Another 36% reported "at least a mild financial impact from their hospitalization." Of those employed before their illness, 40% said they either lost their job or were too sick to return to work. Just over a quarter of those who returned to work reported reduced hours or modified responsibilities.

"For most patients who survived, ongoing morbidity, including the inability to return to normal activities, physical and emotional symptoms, and financial loss, was common," Chopra's team wrote.

"These data confirm that the toll of Covid-19 extends well beyond hospitalization," the study concluded.
The study had limitations. The survey only covered 488 out of more than 1,600 patients whose records were originally tracked. A third of those 1,600 patients died, the researchers reported.

I wonder where the tests were taken. If it was in California, Dr. Eugene Gu mentioned in the article as of May 24, 2020 was not licensed to practice medicine in California. There is the distinct possibility in California that the test kits used might have been part of the ones California that were discovered to be contaminated with the SARS virus. The contaminated test kits would return a very high rate of false positive results.

Sorry but test kits failures are the result of the Democrat state governors that purchased test kits from China that later were found to have a high percentage of contamination. California and New York have continued to use those kits.
