CDC guidelines remain almost the same after your vaccination.
Children in the UK are vaccinated against certain things, and it's similar in the USA. Over there its

    Meningococcal disease (MenACWY) (one dose)
    HPV (two doses)
Tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough (pertussis) (Tdap) (one dose)

Have you ever heard of a whooping cough outbreak? So in these cases tried and tested vaccines do work.

People are getting fed up with lockdowns.

Tens of thousands of anti-lockdown protesters took the streets of London over the weekend as the UK Government continued its shutdown strategy despite declining cases of the Coronavirus and one of the most successful vaccination programs in the world.

Re: Latest on the Corona Virus

Despite the clamor to speed up the U.S. vaccination drive against COVID-19 and get the country back to normal, the first three months of the rollout suggest faster is not necessarily better.

A surprising new analysis found that states such as South Carolina and Florida that raced ahead of others to offer the vaccine to ever-larger groups of people have vaccinated smaller shares of their population than those that moved more slowly and methodically, such as Hawaii and Connecticut.

The explanation, as experts see it, is that the rapid expansion of eligibility caused a surge in demand too big for some states to handle and led to serious disarray. Vaccine supplies proved insufficient or unpredictable, websites crashed and phone lines became jammed, spreading confusion, frustration and resignation among many people.

Popular spring break beach towns have few COVID-19 restrictions
DUSTIN BARNES | USA TODAY | 45 minutes ago

Some college kids are at packed beaches and others are spending time with family, so spring break looks different for everyone as the pandemic ensues.
                  STAFF VIDEO, USA TODAY
Spring break visitors overwhelmed Miami Beach, Florida, over the weekend, resulting in more than 1,000 arrests and an emergency declaration shuttering businesses at 8 p.m.

That declaration has been authorized for an extension every week through April 13.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for beaches include suggestions for beachgoers to wear face coverings, avoid crowds and stay at least 6 feet away from people they don't live with.

Yet some beach hot spots began spring break this year with few, if any, COVID-19 restrictions.

Florida beaches urge COVID-19 protocols but don't require them
Popular Florida spring break destinations such as Daytona Beach and Panama City Beach are open to the public with no COVID-19 mandates in effect.

Officials at both destinations urge beachgoers to follow CDC guidelines for visiting beaches, and the city of Daytona Beach requires all visitors and residents to wear masks indoors except in a home.

Florida did not enact a statewide mask mandate since the pandemic started, leaving the decision to city and county governments. On Sept. 25, Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order that barred local authorities from issuing fines for noncompliance.

Possible Side Effects After Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine
COVID-19 vaccination will help protect you from getting COVID-19. You may have some side effects, which are normal signs that your body is building protection. Your arm may hurt where you got your shot or you may have redness or swelling. You may be tired or have a headache, muscle pain, chills, fever, or nausea. Side effects can affect your ability to do daily activities, but they should go away in a few days. Some people have no side effects.

Remember the 4-millions doses of AstraZeneca that Biden is gonna loan Canada? Buyer Beware.

Independent US board "concerned" by AstraZeneca's vaccine data announcements

Early Monday, AstraZeneca issued a news release saying its Covid-19 vaccine showed 79% efficacy against symptomatic disease and 100% efficacy against severe disease and hospitalization, citing long-awaited US trial data. The latter figure was based on five total cases of severe disease or hospitalization in people who received the placebo, and zero similar cases among those who received the vaccine, NIAID director Dr. Anthony Fauci said during a coronavirus briefing Monday.
The DSMB is an independent expert group which sees trial data before the pharmaceutical companies, the doctors running the trials, or even the US Food and Drug Administration. It has the power to advise a company of positive interim findings, or to halt a trial over safety concerns. That's what happened to the AstraZeneca trial in September after a study participant developed neurological symptoms, for example.
Last year, the US's medical research agency, the National Institutes of Health, appointed a common DSMB to monitor Covid-19 vaccine clinical trials funded by the federal government -- including AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
This DSMB has 10 to 15 members with specialties including vaccine development, statistics and ethics.

Covid-19 Vaccine Rollout: State by State - The New York Times

Some jurisdictions have been more efficient than others at administering their doses from the federal government. The table below includes states, territories, federal agencies and three countries with special agreements with the United States: Palau, Micronesia and the Marshall Islands.
The C.D.C. is now including the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in its data. People receiving this single-shot vaccine are counted as those with “at least one dose” and those “fully vaccinated.”

I think Biden sold Canada a flawed product. I wouldn't take it. I know Canada is desperate but this isn't a good idea.

AstraZeneca accused of cherry-picking vaccine study data

In response, AstraZeneca said that it is working on more up-to-date information and that the more recent findings are consistent with its initial announcement that the vaccine offered strong protection. It promised an update within 48 hours.

In an extraordinary rebuke, just hours after AstraZeneca on Monday announced its vaccine worked well in the U.S. study, an independent panel that oversees the study scolded the company for cherry-picking data, according to a senior administration official.

The panel wrote to AstraZeneca and U.S. health leaders that it was concerned the company chose to use data that was outdated and potentially misleading instead of the most recent and complete findings, according to the administration official, who discussed the contents on the condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the matter.

The U.S. study was supposed to help settle lingering questions about the effectiveness of a vaccine that is being widely used in Europe and other parts of the world and is about to be considered for use in Americans, too.

Rebuilding confidence in its vaccine was what AstraZeneca had hoped to accomplish on Monday, when it announced that a predominantly U.S. study of 32,000 volunteers showed its vaccine was 79% effective in preventing symptomatic COVID-19 disease, and that no vaccinated volunteers had suffered severe illnesses or hospitalizations.
