.... if this is tyranny, I am all for it!
Of course, it is not tyranny, it is just your opinion. People are free to go to whatever bar they choose. Bar owners are free to optimize their profits while operating during a public safety emergency.Comment

Re: Latest on the Corona Virus
Americans who have been fully vaccinated may safely begin traveling again, according to new guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The guidance says "fully vaccinated travelers are less likely to get and spread COVID-19."
"People who are fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorized vaccine can travel safely within the United States," the CDC site says. It goes on to say that travelers who are fully vaccinated don't need to be tested before or after they travel unless required to do so by their destination. They also do not need to self-quarantine.Comment

Re: Latest on the Corona Virus
Good News
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis on Friday extended his state's mask mandate by one month, bucking the trend of other states across the country that are rolling back their coronavirus restrictions.
Polis touted Colorado's vaccination efforts but said prolonging the mask mandate would be critical in preventing a surge in cases as the nation at large sees an alarming spike in infections.
"Here in Colorado we are making incredible progress with getting vaccines into arms and protecting our most vulnerable, but until everyone can get the vaccine and our COVID cases are reduced, taking precautions to prevent a surge in cases and further spread of the disease is the smart thing to do and the right thing to do and helps keep everything open," Polis said.
"By continuing to wear our masks in public indoor settings around others, we can safely enjoy the activities we love and keep our economy open," he added. "Every community has been impacted differently by this pandemic, and we want to ensure this order is reflective of that. We're almost there, Colorado, but we need to keep this up just a little bit longer."Comment

Re: Latest on the Corona Virus
You have just proved a major point!
“Unfortunately the State (Mississippi) still has lockdown restrictions”........and even with their lockdowns and mandates, they are the 4th most affected state in the nation from Covid.
Really makes you wonder why there are still restrictions that haven’t helped cut the numbers down.
We did the opposite in Nebraska (no mandates, and minor restrictions in the early days) and are at 10th lowest numbers in the nation per capita, our economy is the 3rd best in the nation, and job losses were minimal!

Wear a Mask

Re: Latest on the Corona Virus
yeah 'the new Canadian" only picks n choose the info he wants to. Kinda like the Constitutional amendments and laws. That is in line with what info he shared/ridiculed Trump for.
He fails to realize the states that have lifted restrictions are doing much better than the ones still locked down ( like NC ).
He lives in fear of covid and the US government. I guess his mommy and daddy told him to listen to the government and do EXACTLY what his is told.
to bad he doesn't have a working brain to see that the government wants ALL of us to cower in their shadow.
I hope he moves to Canada, that way there will be one less snowflake here in the USA>Comment
