Yeah, I'm dumb as a bag of rocks. The cleaning of a slit glass has me confused and, apparently, I've been wrong about courts all this time. It's amazing that I'm able to put food on the table and survive.

I have no way of knowing about in Canada, but here in California it saves a person a lot of money to show up at traffic court on the appearance date instead of just mailing in a payment. The amount listed on the ticket includes a bail amount that you forfeit by not appearing. That can run into the hundreds.
