Look, regardless of who lied and who didn't, I recommend getting the vaccine. I'm not gonna try to shame anyone like the dems are doing. That's turning off a lot of folks. Recently I've encountered some people who came down with the virus and it's no joke according to them.
I've also talked to a couple of folks that are against the vaccine and we had a brief discussion. Their logic didn't add up to me but I didn't try to change their mind. President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that he was directing the Education Department to use its legal authority against Republican governors who are trying to block local school officials from requiring students to wear masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Speaking at the White House, Biden said some politicians are trying to turn public safety measures into "political disputes for their own political gain" and warned that they are "setting a dangerous tone."
Biden said he had directed Education Secretary Miguel Cardona to wield his oversight authority and take legal action "if appropriate."
"We're not going to sit by as governors try to block and intimidate educators protecting our children," Biden said.Comment

With 10,000 students isolated or quarantined in a week, the School Board votes to require masks for 30 days.

Confronted with rising numbers of COVID-19 cases on its campuses, the Hillsborough County School Board voted Wednesday to require that students, teachers and staff wear masks for the next 30 days, starting today.
Students can opt out, but only for medical reasons.
The 5-2 vote appeared to flout Gov. Ron DeSantis’ recent order aimed at preventing mask mandates in schools. It also risks consequences from the state Department of Education and the State Board of Education, which have threatened action against districts that don’t comply, including removal of school board members.
