You're right, I do have anxiety over illegal immigrants. Not because of covid but because of the enormous burden on your schools and healthcare system. Also, I'm a man of principle. I don't appreciate strangers coming through the back door of my house and making themselves at home. Call me crazy.

Research shows that undocumented immigrants increase the size of the U.S. economy/contribute to economic growth, enhance the welfare of natives, contribute more in tax revenue than they collect, reduce American firms' incentives to offshore jobs and import foreign-produced goods, and benefit consumers by reducing the prices of goods and services

Research shows nothing of the sort. It shows that they're a huge burden on schools and healthcare. Moreover, they bring down wages for hard working Americans.

We all understand that you worship at the alter of big government but I prefer to let the free market dictate wages and flooding the market with cheap labor alters the trajectory of wages and hurts hard working Americans. This isn't up for debate nor is your addiction to big brother telling you what's best for you.
