...a person can still be killed in a car crash while wearing seat belts and airbags deploy. Life has dangers. Like seat belts and airbags taking a COVID-19D vaccine reduces but never eliminates the chance of injury.

Alabama, Penn State, and LSU all had 100,000 fans packed into their stadium yesterday.....yet Fauci says it's too soon to tell if we'll be able to have Christmas.

Starting 4 October 2021 – As part of Nova Scotia's COVID-19 Protocol for Proof of Full Vaccination for Events and Activities, you need proof that you're fully vaccinated to participate in discretionary, non-essential events and activities that gather people together (like going to restaurants, movies, sports events, theatre performances, social events and the gym). Proof of vaccination isn't required for children 11 and younger (they can attend events and activities with a fully vaccinated adult).

Where proof of full vaccination is required

Starting 4 October 2021, you need proof of full vaccination to go to or participate in discretionary, non-essential events, activities and services that gather people together, including:
            • full-service restaurants where patrons sit at tables to be served, both indoors and on patios
            • food establishments (like fast food and coffee shops) where people sit to eat and drink, both indoors and on patios (not including takeout, drive-thru or delivery)
            • liquor licensed (drinking) establishments (like bars, wineries, distillery tasting rooms, craft taprooms and liquor manufacturers), both indoors and on patios
            • casinos and gaming establishments, both indoors and on patios
            • fitness establishments (like gyms and yoga studios) and sport and recreation facilities (like arenas, pools and large multipurpose recreation facilities)
            • businesses and organizations offering indoor and outdoor recreation and leisure activities (like climbing facilities, dance classes, escape rooms, go-carts, indoor arcades, indoor play spaces, music lessons, pottery painting, shooting ranges and outdoor adventure)
            • indoor and outdoor festivals, special events and arts and culture events (like theatre performances, concerts and movie theatres), unless they're outdoor events held in a public space with no specific entry point (like Nocturne)
            • indoor and outdoor sports practices, games, competitions and tournaments (participants and spectators)
            • indoor and outdoor extracurricular school-based activities, including sports
            • bus, boat and walking tours
            • museums, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and public library programs
            • indoor and outdoor events and activities like receptions, social events, conferences and training that are hosted by a business or organization
            • indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and funerals (including receptions and visitation) that are hosted by a business or organization
            • community meetings in rental spaces or where the public may be present (like annual general meetings of businesses or organizations)
            • training hosted by a business or organization (like driver training or courses offered by a business that provides training) and any training using a rental space

No Christmas for you and your family, but it's totally "covid safe" according to Fauci to participate in filming a puff-piece documentary celebrating how much of a "hero" he is.

A pill has cut the risk of hospitalization or death from Covid-19 by half in a study, Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics said Friday.

It would become the first oral medicine that fights viral infection for Covid-19 if approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for emergency use authorization.

"At the interim analysis, molnupiravir reduced the risk of hospitalization or death by approximately 50%," Merck said in a news release. "7.3% of patients who received molnupiravir were either hospitalized or died through Day 29 following randomization (28/385), compared with 14.1% of placebo treated patients (53,377). Through Day 29, no deaths were reported in patients who received molnupiravir, as compared to 8 deaths in patients who received placebo."
Merck said it will seek FDA emergency use authorization "as soon as possible."

Molnupiravir is not a vaccine. It is an oral antiviral, and experts have said developing such a drug could be the next chance to thwart Covid-19. A short-term regimen of daily pills would aim to fight the virus early after diagnosis and prevent symptoms from developing after exposure.

One antiviral drug has been approved to treat Covid. Remdesivir is given intravenously to sick patients in the hospital. It is not meant for early, widespread use.

... if an oral pill could be created that helped fight the spread of COVID-19D this would be a major breakthrough in the fight against the pandemic around the world It would not require refrigeration, could be easily transported and administered and might reach more people who are vaccine hesitant.

If you do your research, you'll find that there's another pill manufactured by Merck, that also cuts the risk of death from covid by at least 50% and upwards of 88%.
This "new pill" is only 47% effective in preventing death.
Virtually identical modes of action against a virus between their "old pill" and "new pill". The only difference will be the price.
The "old pill" is one of the cheapest and most widely available drug on the market across the globe. The "new pill" will be quite expensive, and not as widely available.
The "old pill", on average, costs about $80.00 for 20 doses, some prices are as low as $29.00 for 20 doses.
This "new pill" will cost on average around $700.00 for 10 doses.

New York's largest private health care provider fired 1,400 employees who refused the vaccine

Workers terminated because of refusal to get the vaccine are not eligible for unemployment insurance

New York’s largest private healthcare provider has fired some 1,400 employees who refused to get vaccinated for COVID-19, Fox News has learned.

A spokesperson for Northwell Health confirmed Monday that it "had to exit" 1,400 staff members but noted that most of its members chose to get vaccinated. With the ouster, Northwell’s employees are now 100% vaccinated.
