Re: Latest on the Corona Virus

How do I know which COVID-19 vaccine information sources are accurate?

Accurate vaccine information is critical and can help stop common myths and rumors.

It can be difficult to know which sources of information you can trust. Before considering vaccine information on the Internet, check that the information comes from a credible source and is updated on a regular basis. Learn more about finding credible vaccine information.

... if anything over the past 18 months, we have learned that COVID-19D is many times deadlier than the common flu with long lasting health implications and major negative global commerce implications.

You may want to sweep COVID-19D aside as some kind of inconvenience but over 700,000 US citizens have paid the ultimate price.

There is no moving on. COVID-19D will remain a threat for the next ten years at least and parents have to be required to do everything required by health officials to protect their children's health.

... just in the last five minutes, my employer mandated that all employees must be fully vaccinated or risk employment termination. I am already double vaccinated (AZ & Moderna) so no problem for me.

A study released early this year from John Hopkins showed that instead of 43 - 45 million people in the US having contracted Covid (confirmed by tests), it was more than likely actually 3 to 4 times that amount (129 Million - 170 Million) of people that became infected, and nearly no change in the number of deaths. That would mean that this virus is actually 3 - 4 times LESS severe than what the "running totals"/ "reports" are telling us.

Similarly, MIT did their own study last year around July that found actual case counts around the globe were probably around 12 times higher than what was being reported, and deaths were about 1.2 times higher than what was being reported. This is due to asymptomatic cases (didn't get tested), limited testing abilities (especially early on), policies, etc. with their numbers it would show us that the virus is 2 - 3 times less severe than what's being "reported".

The authors in Both Studies further note that millions of infections could have been prevented if governments (Communist China) had alerted the public earlier and worked to contain the virus before mass outbreaks occurred.

With that being said.....Covid is really only about 2 times as bad as the flu.......not "many times" deadlier.

              Go do some research guys!

The UK is one of the most COVID infected counties in Europe in large part, like in the USA, due to many citizens irrationally resisting to get vaccinated or needlessly resisting simple measures to protect themselves.

... so how do you explain 45,200,000 infections and 732,000 dead?

Influenza (the flu) and COVID-19, the illness caused by the pandemic coronavirus, are both contagious respiratory illnesses, meaning they affect your lungs and breathing, and can be spread to others. Although the symptoms of COVID-19 and the flu can look similar, the two illnesses are caused by different viruses.

                  Differences: COVID-19 and the Flu

                  Cause

COVID-19: Caused by the 2019 coronavirus, also known as SARS-CoV-2. There are different SARS-CoV-2 that have some differences in how severe or transmissible they are.

Flu: Caused by the influenza virus. There are two main types of influenza virus called influenza A and influenza B. Different strains of influenza A and influenza B emerge and circulate each year.

Compared to the 2019-2020 flu season, for example, the CDC estimated that more than 38 million became sick with influenza, leading to 400,000 hospitalizations and 22,000 deaths. That’s slightly lower than the 2018-2019 season (34,200 deaths) and significantly less than the 2017-2018 season (61,000 deaths).

.... in short, you are peddling in misinformation in some misguided attempt to downplay how deadly COVID-19D is.

Did you even read my last post?
The number of cases, according to multiple university studies, is actually MUCH MUCH higher than what is being reported, while deaths have remained virtually the same. And if you do your research into those deaths, it has been found that the numbers are actually lower due to poor/ incorrect reporting methods, or "liberal reporting methods" (Dr. Birx's admission).

So, you say 45.2 million with 732k dead, the studies suggest no less than 130 million infected and upwards of nearly the ENTIRE U.S. POPULATION!
To add to that, by the CDC's own admission, they say that ONLY 6% of "Covid Deaths" can be attributed to JUST COVID. The other 94% had an average of 2.5 other underlying health conditions that contributed to their death. So, based off of all the info. I've given you, we can assume that Covid is not nearly as severe as what's being reported.

This isn't just the U.S. either, this is more than likely true for most countries on earth, especially the the poorer countries.

So, while Covid is Much more transmissible than the flu, it isn't nearly as deadly as we're led to believe.

Well that's what they tell us, they also reported a month back that British Petroleum may have shortages at around 100 of its gas stations (a drop in the ocean), the result was panic buying with lots of gas stations closing, a BBC reporter investigating the shortage was told by a worker that it was all the media's fault. You need to appreciate the utter contempt some of us feel for the media.

Anyway back on topic, yes I live in England and covid cases are not very good at the moment, mask wearing is optional, but covid cases in Scotland are soaring where mask wearing is still more common. Incidentally a supercold has hit the UK and the Scots have it just as bad as us, so that piece of cloth didn't help prevent that in any way.

I have given up on the mask debate, but masks do nothing against the common cold and why should we expect them to.
