Not everyone recovers and the long term effect if you survive is still unknown as virus damages not only the lung but other organs.

This is true. We were initially told that we need to stay home for a few weeks in order to flatten the curve. What happened to that? Then were were told that after the vaccine things would get back to normal. Now they're saying that this is the new normal.
