Ontario detects 36 cases of COVID-19 variant first identified in India all within 'last few days'
Ontario has detected 36 cases of the B1617 variant first identified in India, the province's public health agency said Friday.
Public Health Ontario says six of the cases were detected through its genomics surveillance program and related to international travel. The other 30 cases were detected through Ontario's COVID-19 airport and land border screening program, with testing done at the national microbiology lab in Winnipeg.
"All of theses cases were identified in the last few days," the agency said.Comment

I wish Biden would put these countries on the No Admittance list.. but the southern borders are open and he will not change that... we have mentioned that up to 26% of the illegals jumping our border are infect with both strains of COVID.

CDC, FDA lift pause on using J&J's coronavirus vaccine, add safety warning
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration lifted their recommended pause on use of Johnson & Johnson's coronavirus vaccine Friday and said the label will be updated to warn of blood clot risks.
Vaccinations could resume as soon as Saturday, the FDA said.
The agencies acted quickly after a vote by the CDC's Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices recommended lifting the pause.
"We have concluded that the known and potential benefits of the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine outweigh its known and potential risks in individuals 18 years of age and older," acting FDA Commissioner Dr. Janet Woodcock said in a statement.
"We are confident that this vaccine continues to meet our standards for safety, effectiveness and quality. We recommend people with questions about which vaccine is right for them have those discussions with their health care provider."Comment

I know very few here know ME or give a fuck about ME.
Very few people in life REALLY care if you or I die.
Those close to me approve of my look upon life/others.
Those people who don't know me (who really does besides those in my family) I could care less of their opines of me.
When it comes down to brass tacts, I really don't give a fuck about anyone who doesn't pay my bills, so in other words, I only care about myself and my son.

The Biden administration has taken the first step toward ending an emergency exception that allowed hospitals to ration and reuse N95 medical masks, the first line of defense between frontline workers and the deadly coronavirus.
Thousands of medical providers have died in the COVID-19 pandemic, many exposed and infected while caring for patients without adequate protection.
Critical shortages of masks, gowns, swabs, and other medical supplies prompted the Trump administration to issue guidelines for providers to ration, clean, and reuse disposable equipment. Thus, throughout the pandemic, once a week many doctors and nurses were issued an N95 mask, which is normally designed to be tossed after each patient.
Now U.S. manufacturers say they have vast surpluses for sale, and hospitals say they have three to 12 month stockpiles.Comment
