If by stating SARS, you actually mean SARS-CoV-2, aka COVID-19, current thinking by forensic experts is that the pandemic originated in Wuhan, China most likely as a result of humans eating contaminated bats and exotic animals.

1. Are other attending vaccinated?
2. Is the event indoors or outdoors?
3. What is your own risk and that of your household?

The pandemic is not over for people who are not vaccinated. This summer will be a lot better for most people compared to last year.

... you may not be but for many people it will be. If you want to travel internationally, definitely. If you are immunocompromised, definitely.

The pandemic is far from over and if you want to participate in a large group setting with strangers that you do not know, the risk is on anyone who is not fully vaccinated.
