Do you not understand what an EUA actually means. It means that the no legal action of any type can be taken against vaccine manufacturer for any adverse reaction to their vaccine, including death. It also means that the vaccines have not been fully tested, which takes years.

Scientists parse another clue to possible origins of Covid-19 as WHO says all possibilities ‘remain on the table’

There’s a tantalizing new clue in the hunt for the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic.

A new analysis of genetic material collected from January to March 2020 at the Huanan Seafood Market in Wuhan, China, has uncovered animal DNA in samples already known to be positive for SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes Covid-19. A significant amount of that DNA appears to belong to animals known as raccoon dogs, which were known to be traded at the market, according to officials with the World Health Organization, who addressed the new evidence in a news briefing on Friday.

The connection to raccoon dogs came to light after Chinese researchers shared raw genetic sequences taken from swabbed specimens collected at the market early in the pandemic. The sequences were uploaded in late January 2023, to the data sharing site GISAID, but have recently been removed.

An international team of researchers noticed them and downloaded them for further study, the WHO officials said Friday.

The new findings – which have not yet been publicly posted – do not settle the question of how the pandemic started. They do not prove that raccoon dogs were infected with SARS-CoV-2, nor do they prove that raccoon dogs were the animals that first infected people.

I must admit that this is a huge improvement over liberals crying disinformation and shutting down debate over the origin of covid. I like this improvement. I encourage more of it.

Still doesn't explain why it has taken over 3 fucking years for them to find it. Also one would think that if tree climbing dogs were the source we would have seen more of them infected. And since the raccoon dog is a canine species one would expect the virus to be found in other canines. Do we now quarantine all canines until we determine whether or not they are carriers?

Trust me, I don't believe much of what they say but again anything is a welcome change over their usual shut down of debate and crying disinformation. The way to counter disinformation isn't by shutting down debate. It's by putting out better information.

Novak Djokovic will miss next week's Miami Open after being denied an exemption that would have allowed him to enter the U.S. despite not being vaccinated against COVID-19, tournament director James Blake said Friday.
