Re: Fact Watch
General inquiry.....
Does anybody use Snopes.com website as a baseline for fact checking?
htttps://www.snopes.com/
Snopes.com - The definitive fact-checking site and reference source for urban legends, folklore, myths, rumors, and misinformation.
Just putting it out there....Comment

Re: Fact Watch
snopes at times has been in deep trouble for 'fact checking'. they have spread miss-truths in their fact check, and have had several lawsuits against them and had to pay in some cases.
at one time there were rumors that George Soros was funding part of their operations.
they have been typically been a very left leaning source.Comment

Snopes has repeatedly been reported as being unbiased in their fact checking.
I found evidence of only one lawsuit against them and it has to do with control of the company, and not related to any false claims..
There is absolutely no evidence that George Soros is funding them.Comment
