    The 80s

Pretty tired of media blaming trump and trump blaming the media bullshit videos, so I started watching some music videos from the 80s when I believe most of us were in our prime and found this video of a band named Kix. I think I saw them in the 80s in Greenwich village in NYC back in the day but not sure, hey it was the 80s. lets have a non political thread and share some hair band favorites. NO POLITICS please.

      I'll play! I graduated HS in '84.

One of my all-time favorite bands to this day, Van Halen.

      I've always loved AC/DC.

      Another good one from Europe.

I listened to so many types of music back in the 80's, in my opinion the best era of music, period! You could jam to Pink Floyd on your way to a party where they were playing Ozzy, Deep Purple, Van Halen, etc. bounce down the road after a while, enter the next pary and listen to Run DMC, Curtis Blow, KRS One, Wu Tang Clan and Biggie. Go home with a hottie you met that night, smelling of woman's Obsession perfume, her big hair sprayed with half a bottle of hair spray, spandex pants and high heels. Some time around 4-5 am, get back to the house turn down the lights, light up the candles, pour a glass of Jack and turn on some Ratt, Invasion of Privacy to end the night! Just to wake up and do it all over again before the weekend ended! There was always something about Ratt and candles the ladies loved! I miss those days, so many great memories.

I somewhat remember concerts from Jefferson Airplain, Blue Cheer, Pink Floyd, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh, the Who, and Bob Marley. There was also, 'Ten Years After',and a few Joan Baez type groups.
Forgot 'Jethro Tull', and probably a few others.
That was a great time for music.

Probably the best concert I've ever been to with Tommy Lee coming out over the crowd and rotating upside down while playing live. It was insane! Oh, and the laser light show was pretty cool, too.
